Wool dryer balls are the new "must have" for your laundry and you probably didn't even know they existed. They are exactly as they sound, a ball made out of wool that you put in the dryer. There is more to it than that, of course. Melinda, at Buddha Bunz, sent me 4 to try out and I'm here to give you all the details.
Wool dryer balls cut down on your drying time and make your clothes snuggly soft. The way they work is by separating your clothes so everything dries much faster as they bounce around to soften the fabric. They are used in place of a dryer sheet. The balls are are about the size of a tennis ball, however this can differ because they are handmade. For a special gift you can have Buddha Bunz add a design (by needle felting) on the ball for you or add essential oils for fragrance.
When my dryer balls arrived they smelled like a stable. Right away I thought to myself, "Oh, I sincerely hope these won't make my clothes smell like horses." Luckily they didn't. The smell is normal because they are made from 100% wool that Melinda buys from a farm. It went away on that first dry and my clothes smelled fine. I received 4 undyed unscented balls and tossed them right into my dryer where they now live happily and never come out. I noticed that the balls cut my drying time by about 1/4 of what it was for large loads and half for smaller loads. They really work.
The big benefits of wool dryer balls conserving electricity by shortening drying time and reducing your exposure to chemicals by getting rid of your dryer sheets.
I just looked at Buddha Bunz is having a SALE on their dryer balls. $4 each dryer ball. That is a GREAT bargain. I highly recommend getting over there now to purchase yours because I don't know how long this sale will last!!!
Right now Melinda at www.buddhabunz.com is giving away 2 dryer balls of your choice(designed balls excluded for this giveaway)to one lucky winner! To enter follow the directions below and be SURE to leave a contact email in case you win. Comments with no email or no link back to an email will be deleted.
To enter check out www.buddhabunz.com and tell me which scent you would choose if you were to win a set of dryer balls.
