I know a mother who was giving her son a bath and he slipped, fell to the floor and slid behind the toilet. She panicked of course and immediately called her father to see what she should do. Luckily the baby was fine but mommy was quite shaken up. Bath time, which was already a stressful experience, was now traumatic.
This situation could have been avoided if this mommy had owned a pair of NoSlipCharlie fingerless bath gloves for baby. Made with a poly/lycra fabric NoSlipCharlie offers a safe and gentle alternative for bathing your little one. NoSlipCharlie also comes with little terry cloth mitts that attach to the gloves so that you can give the child a real good scrub. When you are done you simply hang them by the elastic loop so that they can dry out properly.
I do not enjoy bath time. It's a pain all the way around for everyone involved when the kids are this young. I was excited to give NoSlipCharlie a try. I was no disappointed. The gloves really gave me a good hold on Spencer yet were not scratchy or uncomfortable in any way. I have small hands and they fit "like a glove" as well which I appreciated. The terry cloth mitts came in handy in place of a wash cloth and maintained just enough lather for a small child. Spencer is now 9 months old and can sit up with no problem in the tub but I still use my NoSlipCharlie because I find it to be hassle free and just gives me confidence to move him around in the bath.
Right now the creator of NoSlipCharlie, Kim Shulman, is offering one reader their own pair of NoSlipCharlie Bathing Gloves. To enter follow the directions below and make sure and leave an email so that I can contact you if you win.
