Summer is here and so is bathing suit season. Every year women run out to the stores trying desperately to find a great fitting suit and often settle for a so-so fit. With a bra–sized suit from Aerin Rose Swimwear a great fit is just a swipe of the credit card away.
Aerin Kwait-Taubin is the New York-based designer behind Aerin Rose Swimwear. Over 10 years ago she saw a need in the marketplace for high quality, bra-sized swimwear that also had great design. Their collection has evolved today to a very popular swimsuit line that is found both on-line and in stores. They offer one-pieces in sizes 6-14 and bra size separates from 32-38 with cup sizes available in B/C, D/DD and F/G. Their Bikini tops and tankinis include such things as hidden under wire, removable padding and tummy control. They have a full range of styles for the bottoms as well and are in sizes S-XL. Aerin Rose also offers a line of Maternity Swimwear in sizes 6-16 as well as cover-ups in sizes XS-L.
I received a tankini for review and chose their Kaleidoscope print for the tankini which is a mix of purple & teal shades. Now if you know me you know I never wear prints so this was a HUGE jump for me. But I love my Aerin Rose swimwear. They have many great top choices for the tankini. I adore the halter styles but anytime I wear one they seem to make my shoulders and neck ache so I was glad that there was the Adjustable Strap Tankini option for me to choose. I ordered mine in the cup size of D/DD and thought it fit really well. The built in bra was comfortable and I definitely could “grow” a bit and the suit would still fit. The adjustable straps made customizing the fit of the top to my body a cinch. The tankini length is probably what I like the most about the suit. It was long enough to cover the top of my bottoms and conceal my “I had 3 kids” tummy.
The bottoms that I chose with my Aerin Rose suit were Aqua. They are extremely comfortable. I originally chose the shirred hipsters but received the high waist brief instead. After trying the suit on I am glad I received the high waist brief because I like the coverage that it gives. You don’t really see it but I feel like all that is “jiggly” is a bit more secure if you know what I mean. I think that the solid bottom with the printed top looks pretty fantastic. The suit is very flattering and I got a lot of compliments on it from my family. There are many additional solids and prints to choose from. You can even mix and match to create a custom look. I really like the combo of the parrot fish print with the watermelon.

This Aerin Rose suit is the best fitting suit I have ever owned. I think now that I have experienced the awesomeness of a bra-sized top I can never go back.
