Walt Disney World Introduces Beautifully Disney Cosmetic Line
What a fun morning I had! Aimee and I visited the Tren-D Boutique at the Walt Disney World Marketplace to get a sneak peak at the new Beautifully Disney cosmetic line being launched today. It was a whole soiree with Isabella, the Disney parks Fashionista on hand to open the event and chit chat with us about the line and assist with cosmetic makeovers.
We learned that the products are cruelty free and hypo-allergenic which is always great to hear. Merchandise Communications Manager Erin Catalano had a lot to say about the line which is currently released (as of today the 2nd) Wickedly Beautiful. This line will include Villains such as Ursula and Maleficant and Princesses like Snow White and Cinderella. It should take a woman from day to night and be a quality product which is the reason it was made for adults in the first place. The colors are meant to be rich and unique and each line will be able to build on top of one another.
Another reporter asked why adult women still hold an attachment to Disney Princesses and why this line would appeal to them and Erin answered that many women believe they are a Princess whether they are young or young at heart. When she was young she said she’d be a Disney Princess when she grew up. Women have an affinity for Disney and Princesses and want to feel like they are a bit of royalty. Also, the Beautifully Disney collection makes for a great souvenir so you can relive your Disney experience day in and day out while applying your makeup!
I had the chance to really touch and feel the makeup and have it used on me and I can tell you that its texture is that of an above average department store line. The color does show up unlike so many drugstore brands I tend to steer away from as often as possible. The cosmetologists did not use a base on my eyeshadow and it’s still going strong hours later. I’m hoping it will last until tonight. The lip glosses are great, not gummy or gross at all and pretty much zero taste. There is nothing worse than a gross tasting lip gloss that gets gooey when you open your mouth. A lip gloss can go wrong far too easy. I didn’t use a nail lacquer myself but Erin Catalano had used one two days ago and didn’t have a single chip! This is great news.
The Wickedly Beautiful line currently has the following products available at these prices:
2-Eye Shadow Palettes (One Princess and One Villain each containing 4 shadows) $27.95
8-Lip Glosses &14.95
