Cast Of Criminal Minds Shows Support At Swan Event in Los Angeles!
I’ll tell more about the event later, but I wanted to take a few moments to thank all three of these amazing Cast of Criminal Minds people for joining us at Swan tonight.
Ed Bernero for hosting the event and showing up and bringing great people and smiling for all the pictures. I love that you were genuinely surprised when I handed the mic to you, as if you didn’t think we were going to ask you to say something! I love that you came over and talked to me at the after party and allowed me a picture. You are by far my favorite retired cop from Chicago who decided to move to Los Angeles and write for television. Just saying. 
Shemar Moore for arriving early and handling all the press on your own at the pre party. Other than the fact that you rocked it, I’m sure it is somewhat nerve wracking to be up there alone with all eyes on you. Then, not only did you handle the press but you handled all the fans. You read a sweet letter from Andy’s family onstage and we all cried a bit, but then you told a joke and had us laughing and you make it all seem effortless. Finally, you took pictures and signed autographs for over half an hour and didn’t let on once that you had other things on your agenda that evening. Gracious wouldn’t exactly cover how well mannered and patient you really are. Oh and that you jumped in to say hello to my sister on the phone, I’m sure it made her day. Thank you.
Kirsten, oh Kirsten. There are no words. Kirsten Vangsness was at Comic Con today and had to rush back to Pasadena to make this event. Unfortunately she did not get here in time for the movie, but as we all made our way on to the stage she was running down the side aisle in the nick of time. When Zadrina pushed me up front to make my speech you gave me the most compassionate look of “go for it, you can do it” and that really helped. You stood with Shemar and did all the pictures and autographs and then you went outside with Mingle Media and did those little short buzz things. “Mingle Media.com (wait no) “Mingle Media.net (crap cut), Mingle Media Network (thats not it either) and you never gave up until you had it right (MingleMediaTv.com). And you said hi to my sister when she called. So awesome. You my dear are a class act.
Kirsten and Shemar, there is no one else I’d rather stretch shirts with on a Saturday night! Seriously. I will probably never see you again, but I wanted to tell the world how grateful I am for what you did for my friend Andy Swan. Our friend. I was deeply touched by your kindness and generosity throughout the entire evening.
The event was great, I’ll post more on it tomorrow with some pictures and description. I knew you all would want to hear about the celeb stuff though so there you go.
So jealous you got to meet Shemar in person!! I’ve watched him since Y&R!!
Not jealous because you met Shemar, but because you were there. How much I would have given to be there to support Andy. But I was there in mind

Wow, sounds like a great night with some quality celeb time. I can’t believe you were able to just stand up on stage with these people as if it were the most normal thing in the world. I’m really happy for you!

Seriously though, I think it was amazing of Kristen to rush from Comic con for this event. And Shemar was wonderful to handle everyone so graciously and spend half an hour with his fans! What a good heart he has!
