The DiGiorno Italian Style Favorites come in 3 varieties all with a delectable thick rising crust. We tried the Meatball Marinara with its plentiful Italian-style meatballs, zesty marinara and mozzarella cheese. There is also a touch of olive oil and herbs on the crust which makes for a real treat. My kids really loved it too. It was generous in size and very filling that we could feed our entire family and all we needed to add was a side salad. We are currently in dispute over which one to try next, the Meat Trio with Genoa Salami, Italian Sausage, pepperoni with mozzarella cheese or the Chicken Parmesan with its all white meat chicken, tomatoes, zesty marinara sauce and touch of olive oil and herbs on the rising crust.
The DiGiorno Pizza Dipping Strips are just genius! The strips cook together but can easily be broken apart into 12 pieces. The crust is supper fluffy and delicious and there is plentiful cheese on top. There are 3 varieties of Pizza Dipping Strips: Pepperoni, Three Meat which has sausage, pepperoni and beef as well as a Four Cheese variety. All 3 come with both a marinara sauce and a garlic dipping sauce. The box tells you to place them in a bowl and microwave but I actually had a pyrex measuring cup out and I just filled it with hot water and put my frozen packets in. By the time the pizza was ready the sauces were perfect. I didn’t have to worry about any exploding pizza sauce in the microwave.
I made the Four Cheese dipping strips for my kids for lunch yesterday and they could only finish half. Today I warmed them up in the oven and they were just as good today and they were yesterday. I am definitely looking forward to trying both of the other varieties of dipping strips very soon. They are a great item for kids because they pull apart and great for a gathering because they can be shared so easily.
