That is about on par with other At Home Sales positions and includes enough for many parties.
I was able to host a Dove Chocolate Discoveries party of 14 women, using these products and used only a small portion of the included chocolate, the entire brownie mix and not quite half of the Chocolate Martini mix. In my opinion you could have about 5 parties of about 10 women if you get creative and try something different each time.
The chocolate itself is very good. It isn’t a new product, it’s Dove so it is something people are already familiar with. We weren’t thrilled with the Chocolate Martini Mix but have heard great things from other people. The brownies were delicious and our own writer Erika made the most precious cookie cutter brownies and rolled them in powdered sugar. They were a huge hit!
October is Women’s Small Business month and trust me when I say that owning not one but 2 small businesses is a challenge. However it is also very rewarding. I used to be a consultant for another company who did home parties, and I found I liked doing the demonstrations, it was a great way to get out of the house and meet new people, and it was just fun! Plus, I earned a little money, and I earned some free product. Dove makes DELICIOUS chocolate, so I could see this being a fun and profitable business venture, especially for other SAHMs. Plus, did I mention their chocolate is Nom Nom Nom good?!
