I drink a ton of water. It’s my goal to get in 100oz of water every day. Some people think this is far too much. My mother worries I actually lose more electrolytes when I drink this much water and that I should probably aim for closer to 70 oz instead. I’m not quite sure who is right, but I know for a fact my children don’t drink enough water. With the new Brita Bottle for Kids I hope we can turn things around.
The Brita Bottle for Kids includes a filter so that children can refill their bottle on the go anywhere they please. I know Jason’s school requires the students to have a refillable bottle on them at all times, however they often have to fill it up in classroom sinks which kinda grosses me out. This way not only is Jason ridding the environment of disposable bottles, but he is also getting great tasting water each time he refills his Brita Bottle for Kids.
There are three different designs to choose from, one beautiful pink design, one blue sporty design and a green trendy design. The bottles are squeezable which trust me, makes them just that much more fun. They are top rack dishwasher safe which means a lot to me. If I have to hand wash something you can be pretty sure it will “disappear”. You need to replace the filter every two months or about 40 gallons.
We live in a very hot state and my kids are pretty active. I’ll do whatever it takes to get them to drink more water even if it means buying another type of water bottle to see if it’ll help. You can get the bottle for less than $10 at Wal Mart and the filter refills 2 for about $7 as well. Completely worth it in my opinion. Also if you buy any Brita bottle you can get a free book for your child. Check out that deal http://www.scholastic.com/brita/.
