Global Resort Homes One Week Orlando Vacation Review and Giveaway!

Central Florida is one of the top vacation destinations in America, possibly in the world. This is especially true of families with small children. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World are all right here in our back yard. The problem is that not everyone can afford such a fun vacation. MySentimentExactLee and Global Resort Homes want to help one lucky family with that by offering up a 6 night 7 day vacation in a house or villa of your choice!

Global Resort Homes is a vacation home rental company that only deals in the most premier communities and properties. Trust me when I tell you that vacation home rentals are a dime a dozen in Orlando. However quality is rarely as easy to come by. My sister and father have visited Orlando almost yearly the past 20 years and they have come across some real doozies. The pictures on the Internet looked great, the description sounded wonderful, but when they arrived nothing was as expected.

I want to help you take the guess work out of that situation. Living here in Central Florida I was able to visit numerous vacation homes and take pictures. I saw first hand the top quality each and every home or townhouse I visited really lives up to. I would not steer you wrong, this is my blog on the line.

Our first stop was Windsor Palms. Windsor Palms is less than 3 miles from Disney and includes townhomes, condos and houses with up to 6 bedrooms. The houses all have screened in pools and most of the townhomes have small “dip” pools as well.

The house I was able to view was perfect for a family gathering or even a girls weekend! It had a lot of rooms with 2 twin beds. The upstairs area did only have one bedroom which didn’t quite seem like enough but a little bit of planning should make it doable. The house was very open as well. If your children stayed upstairs to play and you were downstairs cooking you could still hear them. That is a big plus for me. There was also a game room in the garage with an air hockey table and a pool table. The community center offered up a gorgeous swimming pool, fitness center, a movie theatre, tons of video games including a Wii room and a sundries shop.

Next stop was my favorite house of the tour at the neighborhood called Windsor Hills. This house was just plain luxurious. The art, the decor, the bedding, everything was a step up in class. Although this house has childrens theme rooms I would recommend it for a couples retreat. It really was that nice and had more than one master bedroom. Like the home before it had a really great game room in the garage and a screened in pool.

The community center offered everything the above neighborhood had to offer plus a huge slide at the swimming pool. But here is the catch, listen closely, the slide has a height limit and it is enforced. Picture this, you arrive at the huge pool with all 3 of your kids, ages 3, 5 and 7. Your 5 year old and 7 year old race straight for the slide so of course your 3 year old is hot on their toes. When he arrives the lifeguard says “Sorry kiddo, you aren’t tall enough for this slide”. I don’t know about you, but in our family this would be a nightmare. Spencer would scream every second we were there. Just food for thought when choosing your vacation rental community. There is also a castle theme playground that I thought looked like tons of fun for a little boy.

The last destination on our tour was Vista Cay Resort condominiums. This Tuscan theme property was deliciously decorated and reminded me of a a vacation resort in another country. Which for some visitors, it is. You have a choice of 2&3 bedroom condos or a 3 bedroom town home. Although the Vista Cay resort does not offer houses, the properties it does offer are the perfect size for a single family. It offers everything the houses offer just on a smaller scale. Full kitchens, dining area, living area and numerous bedrooms and bathrooms.

This community center was the nicest of the group. The furniture was so fancy, but no worries, it is still 100% kid friendly. The pool was enormous and had a hot tub as well. The game room had everything you could need to stay entertained and the movie theatre had big cushy chairs rather than the typical movie theatre seats. This property also boasts a state of the art exercise facility.

All of the properties are fully equipped with everything you could need to live for a week. I want to point out that when I say everything you would need, I mean that in every sense of the word. I have stayed at numerous cabins and vacation rentals that end up having 4 glasses, 3 plates and a sauce pan. These kitchens are packed with dishes and cooking accessories. Each house, townhouse and condo has a washer and dryer as well so you don’t need to worry about how many outfits you pack.

I think the best part though is the customer service. There is always someone to talk to if you have a problem or if something in your home is not working. You won’t be told to wait until the next business day at 9:00 AM, they will help you right then.
