Iced coffee seems to be all the rage during the dog days of summer. We never used to drink coffee when it was hot outside until we discovered how good an iced coffee beverage can be. I think Jake has all but replaced his typical soda for a tall glass of caffeine goodness. When Godiva asked me if I wanted to review the Godiva Coffee Summer Gift Set, I was thrilled. Iced coffee cools off any hot day, and Godiva Coffee Summer Gift Set is just what is needed.
Let’s start with how much I love chocolate, who doesn’t, right? The idea of flavoring coffee with rich Godiva Chocolate was already enough to make my mouth water. I tried the white chocolate coconut, another favorite of mine. Medium roast, it’s not too overpowering. I loved it! But I tend to enjoy a sweet coffee drink, and I’m a girl and this seemed like a “girly” flavor. So I brought it to my office and made a pot for all the men to try. Then the men made me brew 2 more pots, so I guess it’s not so “girly” after all. Nice part is that if you don’t really know how to make iced coffee, the side of the Godiva Coffee package tells you step by step how.
Next in the Godiva Summer Coffee line, Berry Crème Brulee; a medium roast coffee with a hint of blueberry and caramelized sugar. So good I had to hide the last half of the bag from Jake so there was some left for me. Inside my Godiva Coffee Summer Gift Set was a great tumbler made specifically for an iced coffee drink. Also several recipe ideas for other beverages and treats made with Godiva Coffee. I can’t wait to try the Berry Crème Brulee Ice Pops, they look fantastic for a hot summer day. Priced under $11.00 per bag, this is an inexpensive way to treat yourself this summer.
Right now Godiva is giving one of my lucky readers a chance to win their own Godiva Coffee Summer Gift Set.
