This Valentine’s Day Hershey’s Chocolate wants to know what your sweetest Hershey’s Kisses memory might be. That might seem like a strange question, but if you really think back I bet it won’t be hard to think of one. These little morsels of delicious chocolate have been around for over 100 years and have grown with each season. So please take part in our Hershey’s Kisses Sweetest Memories Giveaway.
What my Hershey’s Kisses memory you ask? That’s not a hard question to answer at all. When Jason, my first born and now 8 years old, was just a tot he attended pre-school. It’s not a big secret that I love the color Purple and on Valentine’s Day when I picked him up he presented me with a bouquet full of Silver Hershey’s Kisses wrapped in Purple cling wrap. Each Hershey’s Kiss made to look like a rose bud with a stem and leaves wrapped in a large purple bow. It’s a simple Valentine’s craft that you can find on the Hershey’s website, but it still meant a lot to me knowing my sweet baby had remembered my favorite color and was proud to present me with such a thoughtful gift. And now you have me crying, thanks a lot Hershey’s.

I remember when I was in elementary school that I won a giant sized Hershey kiss as part of the Valentines celebration. I can remember getting home and me and my brother getting out a knife to chop off pieces to eat. Then I remember the disappointment when we found out that this giant Hershey kiss was actually hollow. This was especially troubling for my brother because there was no longer enough chocolate for me to share!!!
I remember receiving one of those giant Hershey Kiss filled candy canes every year at Christmas. There is nothing better than cracking that candy cane open to dig into the chocolate, and nothing worse than realizing you have just eaten the last piece.

That would have to be when I was a kid, my dalmatian got into my Valentines candy and ate an ENTIRE bag of Hershey’s Kisses. Wrappers and all! We were so worried because dogs aren’t supposed to eat chocolate and she ate the wrappers too! Well about a half hour after the incident, she promptly threw up all of the tin foil and wrappers. Turns out she was just fine! It was a happy day! So much for dogs not eating chocolate!
