Interview with Anthony Field From The Wiggles. Giveaway Included!

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been a big fan of The Wiggles for years. It gets to the point where you, the parent, seem to be more involved with the performers than your children. This is definitely the case with myself and Anthony Fields, aka The Blue Wiggle. I love him, I love watching him on the show. He is a bit uncoordinated and is always able to make me laugh. When the Wiggly Publicists offered to let me interview Anthony I was all over it.

The interview went something like this:

Lee: Hello Anthony, what a pleasure. You sound out of breath.

Anthony: Oh goodness. You just wouldn’t believe the day I’ve had. Jeff bought a fold up bicycle and we decided to take it for a spin here in London. However it started pouring rain and I had to run all the way here behind him and now I’m soaking wet.

Lee: Wow, a fold up bicycle, that is pretty neat.

Anthony: Yes, Jeff and I are both very involved in diet and exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. We do our best to stay active while on tour.

Lee: Yes. I had heard that you like your Fruit Salad, and that it is Yummy Yummy.

Anthony: Haha. Well the truth is at one time I wasn’t eating healthy. I was telling all the children to eat healthy, singing about fruit salad and meanwhile I was eating pizza. It was making me feel awful and I had little to no energy.

Lee: Well you could have fooled us. You jump around on that stage like a 2 year old with all the energy in the world. So tell me, what did you do to break that bad eating habit?

Anthony: I began speaking with a chiropractor and he educated me in the benefits of anti gravity gymnastics and the benefits of natural foods. You’d be surprised how much eating right can improve your overall mood. Although I will admit it is much easier to eat healthy in other countries than America.

Lee: Yes I agree, we are heavy on the fast food here, but I think we are coming around and starting to see the healthy side of things. I’d like to know if this new found love of gymnastics has anything to do with The Wiggles! Wiggly Circus Live?

Anthony: Aww yes, you noticed. Yes, this time around I am directing The Wiggles! Wiggly Circus Live which contains actual circus acrobatics like floor routines and ring acts. I had the chance to visit a Barnum and Bailey production while I was in America, and you all do things so big, it was simply outstanding. I wanted to incorporate some of that atmosphere into  The Wiggles! Wiggly Circus Live and inspire laughter while doing the impossible.

Lee: Well I’ve seen The Wiggles! Wiggly Circus Live about 10 times and I will tell you that you succeeded in everything you set out to do. It is by far the best show yet.

Anthony: Thank you so much. I like that this show has something for everyone, even if you were not previously a Wiggle’s fan. You can still enjoy The Wiggles! Wiggly Circus Live.

Lee: Alright I have to ask, were any of The Wiggles upset that you created such a physically demanding show? Did any of them balk and not want to participate?

Anthony: No of course not! All The Wiggles love performing. I will say however, that Murray tends to go at his own pace and plays a lot of guitar.

Lee: I don’t blame Murray. I know I couldn’t keep up. It was a pleasure speaking with you Anthony and I can’t wait to see the show live when you come to the Tampa area in August.

Anthony: Thank you so much as well and I hope you enjoy the show!
