Did you happen to notice that Kohl’s is opening nine new stores this Spring across the United States? Possibly one might be opening near you! But even if one isn’t, all the Kohl’s stores celebrated by throwing a Grand Opening sale. I was gifted a $100 gift card and asked to shop at my local Kohl’s and pick out an outfit that somehow fit around a staple in my current wardrobe. Then I needed to figure out how much I saved at this awesome sale and report back. Check out how I made the best of my Kohl’s Spring Shopping Spree!
Kohl’s is a go to store anytime I need an outfit for everyday or something for Hollywood. I simply love their entire floor and most of the time the prices can’t be beat. This time around I had the manager Wendy and assistant manager Angela and one of the admins helping me find the perfect outfit. It was a lot of attention and you all know how much I love attention. I tried on a lot of different things but ended up with a very ladylike Easter outfit that I hope you’ll love.
I had decided early on that I wanted to incorporate my favorite par of heels that I wear as often as possible in the new outfit. As you can see from the picture above I did a pretty great job. This outfit is very feminine with a lot of lace and embroidered accents but not in a Grandma style. The simple ruffle on my beige color heel added yet another feminine touch without going over the top.
As far as saving money, that was the fun part. I needed as much of an outfit as possible for $100. This sounds easy but sometimes it can be a challenge. Check out my price breakdown below:

That is a savings of $35.41 and I’m certainly not complaining. I basically got the necklace for free plus some. And after all that when you add in tax I still had $12 left over. I could have purchased a pair of earrings or even another top or something else but it was time to go. I’ll spend it very soon.
