Marshalls/TJ Maxx Review and Giveaway!

Getting ready for my trip out West I needed more than a few things. Vacations are expensive enough without worries of shopping expenses. When I found out that Marshalls/TJ Maxx was looking for bloggers to review their store I immediately attacked..err..I mean wrote to the wonderful representative and asked if I could be brought in on this opp. I soon received a gift card to Marshalls for $25 and a gift card to TJ Maxx for $25.

I’m a huge discount shopper. I rarely pay full price for anything. Stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx are my go to stores for anything and everything. This time I was on the lookout for some clothes and shoes. I looked high and low at both stores and unfortunately it wasn’t my day. I’m hard to fit being both petite and plus size so this happens quite often. I was however able to find a few things that I decided I simply could not live without and put those gift cards to good use.

At Marshalls my husband and I found a DVD game of the cult favorite game show Press Your Luck. No Whammies No Whammies No Whammies. It was $3 and we’ve played it about 3 million dollars worth. It is honestly that much fun. We just wish we had a big red button to slam.

I also found a few outfits for my son Jason. They had the cutest little plaid Izod shorts I had ever seen. He loves to dress himself and they never match his shirt but he doesn’t care so neither do I. Our big thrill was 2 pairs of pajamas for Jason. One set was Sponge Bob and the other Buzz Lightyear. These were really nice pajamas too, button up with collars. Well worth the money.

At TJ Maxx I found my new favorite item in the “whole wide world”. My Cortex International W2DPro. Although it claims to dry and straighten your hair from directly out of the shower, it does not, but if your hair is damp it will dry it and straighten it right out. I usually just use it when my hair is dry and it works wonders. It was $30 so I put some of my own money into it but it was well worth it. I use it every Thursday night on my web show so to check out the results please tune in!

Finally another great new product in my bathing line, H20 Natural Spring Body Buffer body scrub. I don’t like girly smells. I am not a fan of food scents or floral scents. This is a fresh scent and contains nice large exfoliating seeds to give me a thorough scrub down. My skin has never been so soft. I’ll be buying this product over and over and just pray they still have it when I go back because I paid less than half price.
