Merrell Henna Sandals Review

I love shoes and not just a certain type either. I like all kinds; flats, heals, wedges, flips, sneakers and the list goes on. They are all just as valuable in my wardrobe as the next. One of my favorite shoe brands to wear is Merrell’s. They have a new Grecian inspired line that I just love, especially the Henna Sandals, which they so kindly sent me.

The Henna Sandals by Merrell come in 4 shades; Lychee, Black, Espresso and Olive and they come single sized. I chose mine in Espresso in a size 8. I usually wear an 8 or an 8.5 and I found the 8’s to be a perfect fit for me. As far as comfort was concerned, they are like heaven on my feet. The uppers are a full grain leather with a full grain leather wrapped EVA footframe that provides excellent cushion for your feet. The upper is also unlined which enables it to be soft and flexible so there is no worry about rubbing when you are planning to be out all day. The midsole/outsole had the QForm® Comfort midsole that provide a women’s specific stride sequenced cushioning. They also have an air cushion in the heels that absorbs shock and ads stability with an EVA midsole for cushioning. The sole has a sticky rubber bottom which enables you to have good traction wherever you are walking. The shoes are very light weight at only 12 oz.

As I mentioned I love shoes. I go shoe shopping all the time searching for a good deal. But regardless of price there is one thing I will never risk and that is comfort. I might be tough in many aspects but when it comes to ill-fitting shoes I just can’t compromise. It is great to review new brands I have never used before but my personal favorite is reviewing and sharing with you products that are trusted brands by me. I personally have been wearing Merrell’s for well over 10 years and choosing them for my children as well. I love that they are both stylish and comfortable. From clogs, to flips to my new Henna’s, every pair I have owned has been extremely comfortable and long lasting. My 1st pair of Merrell’s were a pair of clogs with this suede synthetic upper and I literally wore them until the treads were so worn down that they became slippery. They were stained, had a hole in them and I didn’t care. I adored these shoes.
