MOM Brands (formerly Malt-O-Meals) wants to see people eat healthier and become happier. These are two issues they know a little something about. A few months ago they launched the Frosted Mini Spooners ’12 Layers of Happiness campaign just in time for the National Pursuit of Happiness Day (which is April 13, 2012). You all know me pretty well by now and know that I am always honest with you. So can we just think back to what happened to me on National Happy Day? Yes, my home was burglarized and my families life was rudely interrupted. So maybe I need to read up on this campaign and see how I can start to put some happiness back into my life.
Frosted Mini Spooners are a favorite MOM Brands product as they are both tasty delicious and whole grain healthy. My kids won’t try them yet, even with the cute blue kangaroo, but my kids won’t eat much of anything so try to take that with a grain of salt. I personally like them I can attest to the fact that a small bowl can keep me full all morning long. In case you don’t know, they are those shredded biscuit type cereals with the white frosty stuff on top. You can tell I’m going out of my way not to say certain words in that sentence right? Their made with wheat. Enough said. Here is some info on why they make me happy:
- They are Earth friendly
- It is a nutritious breakfast option. Per serving, Frosted Mini Spooners has 6 grams of fiber, 44 grams of whole grain, low in fat & sodium, 100% daily recommended value of Folic Acid, 90% daily recommended value of Iron
- 12 Delicious layers of Whole Grain
Apparently Author Dan Baker PhD is the Stephen Hawking of Happiness and he has partnered with MOM Brands to create an online campaign which includes a happiness quiz, guest posts about happiness, fun and happy contests and plenty of tips and tricks about making your self happy when the going gets tough. Honestly, I need this. Not to say I’m not a happy person, it’s just that I’ve been through a lot recently and sometimes you need a pick me up and it sounds like Dan the man Baker is also known as Dr. Feel Good!
The whole point of this post is to ask you to take this quiz! We want to find out exactly how happy you are. When I took the quiz I was Reasonably Happy which surprised me. I actually didn’t think I would score as high as I did so Yea for me!
