The Nickelodeon Suites Resort Orlando offers up unmeasurable fun by creating an environment packed with so much to do, you never have to leave the premises. I’m about to tell you about my family’s experience at the Nick Hotel and it doesn’t even cover half the things you can enjoy while visiting the resort. However it kept us busy the entire 3 day 2 night stay.
I’ve written about The Nickelodeon Suites Resort more than once already here on MySentimentExactLee and you can see the reviews:
Not much has changed in the past few years, everything is just as fantastic as it has always been. The Nick Hotel Suites are still bigger than any other I’ve seen in a themed hotel. The bunk beds are still a huge hit and Jason and Spencer took turns on the top and bottom. The night lights in the bunks themselves were an extra special treat the kids abused as much as possible. I still love that the adults bedroom has a door for some private moments away from the kids after they’ve gone to bed. The bathroom still holds everyone’s stuff thanks to the immense shelving units that I droll over and wish I’d had in my tiny apartments in New York City. Seriously, it’s like Ikea helped build the Nick Hotel bathrooms. Three televisions in one hotel room seems like overkill but really, it just keeps fighting to a minimum. Spencer can watch SpongeBob episode after episode all day long and Jason gets sick of that quick.
The pool, the amazing, outstanding, Lagoon pool. It’s actually considered a water park because here is what is offered:

That’s a lot of “Under the Sea” entertainment if you catch my drift. We had so much fun this time knowing all the kids could swim on their own and not having to worry about holding on to Spencer the entire time. All of us played for hours on the slides (yes even Mom) and no one but Mom had panic attacks. Sometimes we’d just all swim in the deep end and let the kids show off their newest tricks. Then we’d enjoy the live entertainment, whatever it may be, and grab a snack or lunch and relax on a lounge chair. It was wonderful.
The other best part of our trip that I’ve never talked about before was the chance to be on Double Dare. Yes, Double Dare. Remember that show from our childhood with Mark Summers? Well now you can play Double Dare at Nickelodeon Suites Resort Orlando. There are height requirements and kids must sign up with an adult but if you are chosen it will be intense fun. The hosts are great at their job and the greatest part is they really enjoy it (I even asked). The game starts with asking questions to the contestants, if they don’t know the answer they can pass it to the other team, if they don’t know the answer they pass it back and the contestant can then choose a Physical Challenge. That is where Mom or Dad is probably gonna wind up covered in mustard or something akin to boogers. The winning team gets to go through the final obstacle course for a chance to get slimed. Jason got slimed and it is a moment he will never ever forget. For this experience alone I recommend a trip to Nickelodeon Suites Resort Orlando, FL.
Finally there are two awesome interactive meal options I’d highly recommend. The first is the Bikini Bottom Character Breakfast. All your favorite SpongeBob friends are thrilled to meet you at this musical hula celebration. The characters will come straight to your table for pictures and will take time to do autographs as well. And you’ll love their songs and dances. I still sing the Jellyfishing song constantly. The buffet is as good as buffet food can be. I fell in love with the Egg and Sausage roll up “thing” and ate 2 1/2 of them. The kids couldn’t get enough SpongeBob shaped waffles.
Finally the Antonio’s Pizza-Rama Dinner featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looked to be the coolest thing ever. Spencer loves the TMNT but unfortunately we were unable to catch this experience. I promised him we’d bring him back to check it out in the future. From what I could tell it is an Italian buffet where all the kids get a TMNT mask and then the TMNT put on musical song and dance much like that of the above Bikini Bottom breakfast. It says in the description that they show off their ninja moves so that would make Spencer and Jason’s day!
I’ve only touched on a few things to do at Nickelodeon Suites Resorts in Orlando, FL. There is still so much to mention such as the huge arcade, 4-D movie theater, the Kid’s Spa and more. You’ll have to see it for yourself though so make your reservations now. There is always a great deal floating around their website so please visit http://www.nickhotel.com for more information.
