Like the Oransi Robby Wash Ball for instance, when the company wrote me and asked if I would do a review of the Oransi Robby Wash laundry system, I chuckled and thought “sure and if that little ball can clean my laundry, I’ll be shocked”. I have an 18 year old son who is doing physical training before entering boot camp. Sometimes that boy comes home looking like he just showered with his clothes on. Add that to my father’s stinky socks and my perfume filled work clothes and you have one tough job on your hands.

The Oransi Robby Wash Ball is about the size of a softball. It’s made of durable plastic and has a soft foam ring as to protect your washing machine from scuffs. The ball is filled with several smaller balls (the detergent) highly concentrated so it lasts over 120 loads. You simply place the Oransi Robby Wash Ball in with your laundry and let it do all the work. You don’t have to use fabric softener because the ball softens the clothes as it washes them. I however like the smell of my fabric softener, so I still used mine. Each load needs to be less than 10 pounds or you need to use 2 Oransi Robby Wash Balls. There is a ball for whites and another ball for colors, sold separately.

As I said, I immediately put my Oransi Robby Wash Ball to the ultimate test with a load of clothes for the men in my life. Fully expecting to have to wash them twice, I’ll be honest, I really didn’t think the Robby Wash Balls would work as well as they claim. Much to my surprise, those clothes not only came out beautifully clean, but they didn’t smell and all the stains where gone. Amazing! Next test, the bathroom rug; it’s the dreaded white rug that never comes clean. It’s so hard to show in pictures the difference between the dirty rug and the beautiful clean white one. But take my word for it; the Oransi Robby Wash Ball made that rug glow it was so white. I could not believe my eyes.

The down side, they don’t make your house smell like flowers the way the supermarket liquid does. Also, 10 pounds of laundry isn’t much when you’re looking at wash for a family of 4. The up side, they work fantastic. The Oransi Robby Wash Balls last forever so they save you money. They come with a stain stick and another packet of detergent balls to add when the first ones start to wither down to nothing. They are easy to store, easy to use, and they are safe (no way are your kids going to mistake this thing for candy). I love my Oransi Robby Wash Ball and can’t see purchasing the expensive liquid stuff ever again. You can learn more about the Oransi Robby Wash Balls by visiting them on Facebook and Twitter.

Right now the Oransi Company is giving away a Robby Wash Ball to one of my lucky readers. All you have to do to enter is Pin the Oransi Robby Wash Ball to Pintrest, come back and show me the link to your pin in the comments section.

I don’t have a Pinterest account yet, but I think the wash ball is very cool. Glad to hear a testimonial where it worked so well. Neat idea too for teens, since they seem to use too much detergent when doing the laundry themselves. This would be great for a college student too instead of lugging a huge, heavy bottle of detergent to the laundry.
