All little boys want to be super heroes when they grow up. Whether that hero is a comic book character like Superman or a real life hero like your local fire fighters. The power to protect and save seems to be instinctual. My kids are very entertained by comic book characters and that is mostly because my husband and I are total geeks. We have a DC Comics and Marvel Comics Encyclopedia on our coffee table. So from a very young age Jason and Spencer wanted to be caped crusaders. Not only is their customer service phenomenal but their capes are a high quality fabric. My sons chose the Personalized Custom Cape with Emblem and Initial. Jason chose a blue cape with a red emblem and Spencer chose a red cape with a blue emblem. The capes are made from premium satin and each one has a serged edge, which can make all the difference.

On PowerCapes.com you get to choose between 11 colors for the cape, 7 emblem shapes, and nearly 40 initial color choices. That is a wide variety but this way you can be sure to pick the most unique cape possible for your child. You also get to choose from 3 sizes. The smallest is “side kick”, next up is “Hero” and after that is “SuperHero”. The capes all come with a velcro closure ensuring your childs safety at all times. This was my only gripe. The Velcro needs to be adjustable or something because it was far too large for Jason and Spencer’s necks.
