It’s starting to finally get out of the humid 90’s here in Florida which means it’s time to get outside and get active! Karolyn and Kyle love riding around on their bikes and scooters visiting the neighbors and just speeding around. Kyle wants to do tricks but without any flex in his scooter it was impossible. That was until now with our brand new Radio Flyer Shockwave. With the introduction of the new Shockwave we are hosting a Radio Flyer How Do you Roll Giveaway for a new scooter!
Radio Flyer has just released 2 brand new scooters with all the bells and whistles that kids want the most. They also have the same great quality that you can expect from the company famous for the little red wagon. Their new scooters are named the GrooveGlider and the Shockwave. We opted to receive the Shockwave because I think it can be for both girls and boys. The Shockwave has FLEXDECK technology which allows the rider to make bigger jumps as well as it provides suspension for a smooth fast ride. The Shockwave has a solid steel frame and bolted, 3 position handle bars that allows for the scooter to have a no-rattle ride. Shockwave retails for $59.99 and is recommended for children ages 5 years and up.
I brought the Shockwave over to my in-laws house because they live in a cul-de-sac and the kids are able to ride around more. They had a blast with the maneuverability of the Shockwave. They were ecstatic about how high they could jump and actually did a great job at taking turns with it. Of course they tell me I should try it but I am a wimp. I think I tried a skateboard once and fell off and said never again. I did have a friend with a scooter that I loved riding on but I never had one myself. As a kid, I mostly rode around on my red Schwinn 10-speed bicycle. It is still alive too in my parent’s basement after almost 25 years.
As I mentioned above there are 2 releases from Radio Flyer. I did not receive the GrooveGlider from Radio Flyer but it is definitely worth talking about. The GrooveGlider has a built-in MP3 speaker case positioned conveniently between the handle bars. The built in MP3 speaker case lets girls rock out to their music while they ride. The MP3 storage case projects great sound and is weather resistant, even durable enough to handle the inevitable scooter drop. It also has 3-position adjustable handlebars on the GrooveGlider just like the Shockwave that allows for a grow-with-me feature, while a quiet, no-rattle ride.
Right now we are hosting a Radio Flyer How Do You Roll Giveaway where the winner receives a choice of either the Shockwave or the GrooveGlider Scooter from Radio Flyer!
