School is back in session. New teachers, new books and new friends. It’s such an exciting time for our children. It can also be a frustrating time as well when it comes to packing lunch and snacks. You have to give your kids something they like but also something that is a good nutritional option such as Lance Sandwich Crackers and Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels. They sent me a fantastic Back To School Crunch Time package to check out some of their great varieties and see for myself why parents have been choosing Lance and Snyder’s of Hanover for many years for their families.

My kids are not big fans of school food so I do a lot of packing lunch. I also have to pack a snack for Kyle because he has a late lunch period. I like to pack easy snacks for him that do not require a utensil and Lance Sandwich Crackers are a great choice. He is definitely my kid because his favorite is the ToastChee Peanut Butter crackers. These have always been a big fav of mine especially on road trips and when we are out on the boat. My father-in-law is a big fan of Lance too with his favorite being the Cream Cheese and Chives on Captain Wafers.

Recently I was introduced to the Lance Whole Grain Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers and these are great! They are a healthy and quick snack with 9 grams of whole grains, 4 grams of Fiber and 6 grams of protein. They are also a great option for snack time at school or snack time after school. If you like whole grains like me you can also choose Whole Grain Cheddar or Sharp Cheddar and Whole Grain varieties.

I grew up always having pretzels in the house. Snyder’s of Hanover is a brand I frequently purchase. I really love their 100 calorie packs. They are great to throw in my purse for an on the go snack for Wyatt or me as well as a fabulous alternative to chips in Karolyn and Kyle’s lunch box. My kids are super shape picky so I like that I can choose from sticks, snaps and mini’s. It is fun to pack them in the lunch box to go with other food items. I can pack peanut butter or Nutella they can spread between the snaps to make sandwiches. Diced chicken and cheese is a great pair with the sticks as well as berries. Your child can use the pretzel stick instead of a fork and will be sure to make all the kids at their table jealous of the fabulously packed lunch.

A lot of parents are opting for Gluten-free but unfortunately there is not a lot of good tasting gluten-free products out there. Snyder’s makes gluten-free pretzels that are fantastic. I really did not notice much of a taste difference but the gluten-free pretzels are a bit crisper. I really liked this feature actually and so did my neighbor who had to ransack my stash to try them. She preferred the gluten-free texture to the regular formula pretzel.

If you are looking for a great snack for your child for snack time at school or after school then be sure to check out Snyder’s of Hanover 100 Calorie Packs as well as Lance Sandwich Crackers. There are so many varieties to choose from. They will for sure make your little one think you are pretty awesome for providing them with such delicious snacks.

Right now we are giving away a Back to School Crunch Time package featuring eight 10-pack 100-calorie snack packs featuring a variety of 100-calorie Snyder’s pretzel products including snaps, minis, sticks and the newest Gluten Free Minis plus two home packs of Lance Whole Grain Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers and Lance ToastChee Sandwich Crackers.
