Sherpa Chair Review!

Have I ever told you about how Jason’s soccer was the bane of my existence? I thought it was going to be so much fun, even forced the husband into coaching. Somehow I got wrangled into being “Team Mom” and Jason hated every minute. The games were a nightmare. There were no bleachers and the first game I had to sit on the ground. I don’t “do” the outdoors so sitting on the ground was no fun. Luckily about this time Sherpa Chair wrote me and asked if I’d like a chair free for review.

The Sherpa Chair is a backpack and a chair in one. I appreciated that I was able to put Jason and Spencer’s sippy cups in there and didn’t have to carry them separate. It weighs 5 pounds and I didn’t even notice it on my back and I’m very sensitive to that type of thing. It was a breeze to set up and best part is it has a cup holder! Everything in life is so much better with a cup holder, seriously. It lays pretty flat so it was never a burden in my car even with our biggest stroller.

Pulling the chair back into the backpack fashion was a bit confusing at first but kind of like that first day at a new school, once you got it down you were set. Also, as a bigger girl it wasn’t as comfortable for me as it was for my friend Erika who sat in it once in a while. She loved it and said it was sturdy and felt better than most foldable chairs.

I recommend the Sherpa Chair for events like soccer games and even outdoor concerts. Having lived in NYC I would have loved to have one of these when we would travel to Central Park for picnics. The pouch is big enough to carry quite a bit.
