CLOSED! Smarcks Talking Building Blocks Review And Giveaway!

by Lee on March 11, 2011

008 1024x768 CLOSED! Smarcks Talking Building Blocks Review And Giveaway! You’d be hard pressed to find a child who doesn’t love a fun set of blocks. Smarcks Smart Blocks are an especially fun set because they talk and sing to your child. Consider the fun of a typical set of blocks combined with the education power of electronics and you have the perfect toy.

Talking Building Blocks give you a large range of learning blocks like manners, math, ABC’s and puzzle solving. Spencer is especially enchanted with the statement from the Yellow color block. He even recites it while doing his everyday routine “Could it be true, can you look and see, am I yellow like a honeybee?”

If you place a math block on top of a non speaking block it will tell you “You put me on a two block and a three block. Three minus 2 010 300x225 CLOSED! Smarcks Talking Building Blocks Review And Giveaway!equals 1. I like math.”. If you stack an alphabet block you will hear something along the lines of “C is for CAT” or “K is for Kiss”.

The whole family enjoys playing with these learning blocks because it’s something different every time. The only block so far that has bothered me is some of the singing blocks, they go on for a really long time. The blocks I like the most are the manners blocks because we have a lot of toys that teach math and ABC’s but nothing much that teaches manners.

Two other great things about The Talking Building Blocks is that first, Dr. Toy named them a 2010 Best Toy which is a huge honor. Second, they have some really great specials on their website that makes purchasing the blocks an even better choice for a special child in your life.
There are so many options when playing with the 70 piece Smarcks Block Kit that I could go on all day. Why don’t you find out for yourself by entering the contest below.

Right now you can win any TWO SETS of Smarcks Talking Blocks.

To Enter (worth one mandatory entry):
Visit http://www.talkingbuildingblocks.com and have a look around. Come back and tell me something you learned about the blocks not mentioned in this review.

Extra Credit (worth one extra entry each you do):

1. Comment on any non giveaway post on this blog. Each comment is worth one entry only but you can comment as often as you’d like. Come back and tell me where you comment each time.

2. Follow both @theexactlee and @talkingblocks on Twitter. Then Tweet “Win 2 sets of @talkingblocks from @theexactlee http://gw3s9.th8.us” You can do this once a day. Please come back and show me the link each time you do.

3. Like both MySentimentExactLee and Smarcks on Facebook. Come back and tell me who you are.

4. Follow me via RSS Feed or Email Subscription by clicking on the heart icons at the top of this blog.

This contest is open to US Residents ages 18+ only. Contest will run until Friday April 1 (no fooling) at Midnight EST. Winner has 48 hours to claim their prize.

*I received media sample. All opinions are my own.

I’ve never heard of these, but they are amazing. I learned it was invented by a father watching his kids play with blocks instead of all the other talking/educational toys laying around. He knew he could make these blocks do more and teach his kids.

Accelerated learning is not only what the Smarcks are about; good manners and doing the right thing is just as important. Honesty, being nice, sharing, saying thank you and please – all leading to respecting your parents and growing up to be a good person.
