This summer Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes are offering up more than 45 great Vegetarian Specials many of which are also vegan. These great options will be offered not just along their famous 55-foot salad bar but also be found among their soup, pasta, fruit and dessert stations. Sweet Tomatoes features a rotating monthly menu, which always includes a vegetarian offering so there is always something new and exciting to try each month.

When my oldest child was 1 I had a good friend named Mary K who used to go to Sweet Tomatoes weekly and always try to get me to come. I was unfamiliar with Sweet Tomatoes so I was reluctant but as soon as I went there for the first time I was hooked. I was amazed at how fresh the food was and how the salad bar was equipped with everything I could think of and about 35 other items that I did not. The pasta station, fruit and bread offerings were fabulous for my daughter who was just 1 at the time. I could go, have a great lunch with a friend and leave knowing that my daughter also had a wholesome meal as well.

As my family has grown so has our love for Sweet Tomatoes. It is an economically good choice for us and there is something for everyone to eat. I find that I can actually get my kids to eat more when we go to Sweet Tomatoes because they can put such a diverse array of food on their plates. Just recently we went and were shocked at how much food our youngest ate. He may have set the record for the amount of macaroni and cheese a 1 year old had eaten in 1 sitting. And if you have not tried their macaroni and cheese you are missing out.
