Jake and I were faced with a dilemma this summer when we took our east coast trip. Amtrak only allows carry-on luggage for coach passengers traveling between states. So how do you pack for a 10 day trip using only a carry-on? The first thing that came to mind was to use those Space Saver Bags that I’ve seen on TV. Only problem is that once I got to the first hotel I would be opening up the bag and I wouldn’t have access to a vacuum cleaner to re-pack for my next stop. That’s when I found out about the Space Saver Dual Use Bags with the option to roll the air out and still save space.
To demonstrate how much space the Space Saver Bags can give you, first you must find a cluttered area in your home, like a linen closet for instance. I have a very small home, and there is absolutely no storage space, it makes me crazy. So what little closet space I have needs to be used wisely. All those extra towels take up a lot of room, but you have to have them if you have company. With the help of the Space Saver Dual Use Bags, I was able to compress those towels down and fit all kinds of other things in my closet that I needed to store.
As for packing with the Space Saver Dual Use Bags, they work great with the vacuum cleaner, but I knew they would. When I rolled my clothes up in the small bag that fit in my carryon luggage it worked pretty well. Not quite as good as it does with a vacuum, but I didn’t expect it to. The Space Saver Duel Use Bags did compress enough to fit a few extra items in the bag, which is excellent. They will work wonderfully if you are traveling to a place where getting your hands on a vacuum cleaner is not possible. All in all I would have to say that the Space Saver Dual Use Bags do exactly what they claim and are a must have for every household and for every traveler. You can purchase the Space Saver Bags at your local retailer. For more information about the Space Saver Dual Use Bags please visit their site at http://www.spacebag.com
Right now Space Saver Bags are giving away a free set of bags to one of my lucky readers.
