URGENT NOTICE for Arbor Ridge Neighbors and
ALL Apopka Residents:
Verizon Wireless is planning to build a telecommunications tower at the Grace Point Church on Lester Road. This tower, that will stand 151 feet tall, will be an eyesore, will decrease our home values and will pose a potential health risk to our children.
The planning has been going on for years at the church and months with the Apopka City Planning Commission. At this time, they meet all regulations for a special exception. The only way to stop this special exception from being granted by the Planning Commission is through a public outcry.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1) Plan to attend the special exception meeting beginning on Tuesday, May 11th at 5:01 p.m. It will be at the City Council Chambers in the Apopka City Hall. There is strength in numbers!
2) Come to an informational meeting and petition signing between 6 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the Arbor Ridge Community Area Near the Pool.
3) Sign the online Petition! Never underestimate a grassroots movement.

i would venture to bet that the people most against this tower probably have a cell phone stuck in their ear for hours each day.
the eyesore issue is not a viable argument.
people, get over it.
I believe people really don’t have anything better to do. Go outside and you will get cancer serious. If you have time to look up dumb reason on why or what a cell tower might do then please take that time and do something useful for humankind!!!!! God got victory today!!! Satan you lost!
