A few weeks ago myself and my friend Tracie from the blog FromTracie.com were invited to the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Unfortunately it wasn’t so that we could take 3 laps around their 1 mile tri oval raceway. It was so that Tracie’s daughter Katie could participate in the Junior Ride Along. Tracie and I were both so jealous of Katie. Tracie espeically would have loved to take the wheel herself and show the drivers a few of her expert moves.
Junior Ride Along’s are $59 and are geareed for kids ages 6-13 and at least 48″ tall. I can’t even begin to tell you all about the Richard Petty Driving Esperience, so instead I made a video so you can watch the adorable Katie in action. And then, once you watch her you can listen to someone far more versed in the safety and technology of the actual cars. You’ll also get to hear my huge Richard Petty raceway phobia. Yep, I have one and I took it pretty darn seriously.
