This is just a quick post to ask if you’ve seen Wasabi Modern Japanese Cuisine most likely at a mall near you? Tracie at FromTracie and I checked ours out at Florida Mall and it was not only delicious but entertaining. The concept is that you sit down in a booth or the bar and conveyor belts move around you which contain the food. You receive a menu giving you a rundown of what may be on the conveyor belt and depending on the color of the plate, the price point. Sushi for example goes from $2.50 to $5.00 per plate. There are also entree’s like Chicken Teriyaki for the less adventurous which will run you $8.
Tracie and I both agreed that the restaurant itself felt a bit like a zoo because the set up is so interesting people can’t help but stand around and gawk. I didn’t mind because lord knows I love attention so stare on people, stare on. At Florida Mall the servers were quick to help you figure out what a certain item was in case it wasn’t on the menu. Sometimes the chef will make a signature item which is a nice surprise. They are also open to making you something special.
So next time you are shopping take a quick look at your mall directory and see if you have a Wasabi Modern Japanese Cuisine where you are located. It’s an affordable and delicious way to entertain yourself through a meal. Conveyor belt dining makes you feel a bit like The Jetsons and that is worth $20!
*I wrote this post out of the goodness of my heart. I received nothing.

This was so much fun. We need to go back soon!
That is awesome! They are opening one in Orland Sq. Mall this winter, can’t wait to try it!
