Universal Orlando Resort is always a front-runner for fun during the holidays and now they’ve raised the bar higher with the addition of The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is an already popular attraction so this Universal Orlando projection show on Hogwarts Castle only sweetens the deal. You’ll be able to see students riding broomsticks and building snowmen and even the ghosts of Hogwarts singing Christmas carols all projected on the castle in beautiful lights. The shows run every 20 minutes and can be crowded at the beginning of the evening. I’ve been given a Hogwarts at Christmas insider tip that if you wait till later in the evening there will be more space and better viewing capabilities.
If you are a fan of The Grinch you’ll want to see The Grinch live stage show. Honestly, the sets and costumes are Broadway worthy. The show itself always stars energetic actors who are thrilled to get out on the stage and entertain the audience. The Grinch himself will warm your heart in the way only he can. Be sure to get there early so you can get a seat! Shows play throughout the day.
All New Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s
Every year the Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s dazzles with floats, dancers, entertainers and huge balloons. Character favorites such as The Simpsons, Minions, Marilyn Monroe and Santa Claus himself are stars of this famous parade, which acts as a spin-off of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year we’re treated to a new lineup which includes characters from The Minions, Madagascar and more. I haven’t seen it yet but I’ve read the floats are gigantic. I’m excited to check it out.
I’ll be visiting Universal Orlando Resort’s Holiday event next week and I hope you’ll join me. I changed many plans so I could see The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts at Night. I’ll share my thoughts with you later.
*Thank you to Universal Studios for supplying my family with complimentary tickets to see this beautiful projection show. All opinions were my own.
