It’s time for the ScreenUsed Teen Wolf auction I’ve been teasing about on Twitter! So as I’ve been rather upfront about, my current obsession is Teen Wolf. If you have not already do yourself a favor and watch all six seasons free on Amazon Prime. Yes, even if you are a full grown adult person go ahead and watch, I assure you it has something for everyone and you will fall for this show so hard. Dylan O’Brien, for example, is my main reason for watching, he is a complete scene stealer. Stiles Stilinski is one of the greatest characters in fictional history. Or maybe Tyler Hoechlin, all handsome and rugged beauty, will be more appealing? Either way, the writing, done by Jeff Davis, is stellar and the actors are all exceptional.
My Favorite Day – Teen Wolf Auction Warehouse
I’ve written about ScreenUsed before, the company who auctions off items from movies and television shows. You can also visit the store to find memorabilia from your favorite shows. However, the auctions tend to be where it is at! Starting today May 12th they are holding the final Teen Wolf auction (they’ve done a few already) and I was invited to peruse the items while I was in LA a few weeks ago. I wasn’t allowed to buy anything due to their contract with the studio. My begging and puppy dog eyes didn’t work either and trust me, I tried. So everything they were given is there, I swear nothing came home in my back pocket, not even pieces of Stiles’ wardrobe. Check out some of this stuff available!
So you know that shirt fans of Teen Wolf call the “Black Ringer” shirt that Stiles has worn numerous times throughout the show? Would it blow your mind if I told you it was actually navy blue? These small things were fun to learn as I looked through 6 years of props and wardrobe. Another important wardrobe item to many fans was the dress worn by Lydia in the Motel California episode. Finally, Deputy Parrish will have his ripped up shorts in the Teen Wolf auction. Okay so listen to this, his feet were shoes. I know that sounds insane and I tweeted a pic so go look for it. Ryan Kelley had to run around barefoot all the time, and it would have hurt his feet so they made him shoes that protected his feet (kind of like fivefinger running shoes) that looked like his feet. Too trippy! I for one might be bidding on Stiles’ shirt for sure! I have no idea how they keep pit stains out of these white shirts LOL.
Tyler Posey played Scott McCall and no Teen Wolf auction would be complete without loads of assets he had touched. There will be plenty in the auction but here are three of his jackets from the show. Obviously one of them ran into some claws. Can you tell me which episode the middle jacket might be from?
The wardrobe is the best, but props are fun too. Can you recognize these three props? I mean HELLO I had the chance to hold Stiles’ bat and it will be up for auction. There are actually more than one because this is how TV works. I feel like such a dork holding it though, I said I looked like his mom trying to look bad. What are the other two props? I knew right away but the show was fresh in my mind. I saw someone on Twitter say Shelley Hennig should purchase the baby doll for her creepy old toy collection, I guess this is a thing for her?
At this point it is pretty obvious I am a huge Dylan O’Brien fan since I kind of fawned over his assets. His lacrosse penny will be up in the Teen Wolf auction and since fans are willing to buy a t-shirt made to look like the jersey I think this will definitely go high. Mommy Melissa/Melissa Ponzio wears scrubs in 90% of these episodes. I actually asked if her Alpha date night outfit was available but we couldn’t find it. So if you are a huge fan of hers, a pair of her scrubs are pretty darn perfect.
Oh look, this lacrosse jacket worn for almost 6 years by Dylan O’Brien looks fantastic on me. I begged and pleaded for them to let me buy it but they said no. I would have worn this every day for the rest of my life. Now maybe you can bid with me during the Teen Wolf auction on ScreenUsed to try and win it. There is also an Oni costume which was pretty neat, there will be other villain costumes too. If you want larger items check out this Beacon Hills Animal Clinic sign. They also have the door to Hale Manor with the Alpha symbol drawn on the front and numerous props from the bedrooms and high school walls.
ScreenUsed – In Store And Online
If you live in LA you can visit the store in Canoga Park and purchase a few things without waiting for the auction. Some of the larger items they can’t ship and some wardrobe pieces that were not worn by the cast but were meant for the cast. And while you are there don’t forget ScreenUsed has a slew of other movie and tv credits under their belt with wardrobe, purses, shoes, and jewelry just waiting for you to make your own.
So tell me, which items would you find yourself bidding on? Did you have a favorite wardrobe piece, prop, character? The Teen Wolf auction starts Saturday, May 12th at 10 am PST here.
*Special thanks to the team at ScreenUsed for showing Tim and me the time of our lives. It was our favorite experience on our trip.
