Wedding Gowns On Everyday Women Not Just Supermodels
A few weeks ago I hosted the most glamorous event Orlando bloggers have ever attended. Myself and Alfred Angelo invited a group of talented writers with some of the most engaging content to come out to the Altamonte Springs store and try on dresses. Alfred Angelo gowns on everyday women modeled by Orlando bloggers. The night was going to sparkle.
The assignment was that easy. Come to our store, eat delicious food, play dress up, and when you leave you get a gift card for a special occasion gown from Alfred Angelo’s bridesmaid collection. In return we hoped they would write a story about Real Women/Real Brides and how they felt when they brought the gowns to life.
Disney Fairy Tale Bridal
And write they did. Each and every blogger wrote a beautiful story about the evening and how taking a night away from their usual routine to feel beautiful lifted their spirits. They told their fans about their favorite gown and why they were drawn to the certain style. Maybe they loved a Fairy Tale Bridal Gown and it was because they had always been a fan of a specific princess like Jennifer from MyBoysandTheirToys.com and Nicole from SparklyEverAfter.com.
Bride To Be
Suzannah from ZannaLand.com was looking at dresses with the sound of actual wedding bells in her ears as her own wedding is taking place at the end of the year. She wasn’t doing serious shopping but she definitely wanted to find out what style of dress would fit her best.
After Second Thought
One blogger was surprised to find out that a dress she never thought she’d like ended up fitting like a glove. Tracie with FromTracie.com learned the lesson many brides learn the first day of their shopping trip. What you thought you were going to like isn’t always what ends up looking the best on your body type.
Kelly with OnTheGoInMCO.com is always so much fun to have around. Her picture is my favorite because it reminds me of a movie star from the Hollywood Golden Age. She always looks elegant no matter where we are. As if a walk to Gigi’s Cupcakes was really an evening in Monte Carlo.
It’s at this point the girls are really starting to understand what Alfred Angelo Real Women/Real Brides is all about. They’ve tried on a few dresses and some they have loved and others not so much. These girls have learned how to work the dresses. My fellow bloggers are bring the dresses to life. And that is exactly what my campaign is about.
A Renewal Is In Order
And yes, even I tried on some gowns. You’ll see me above with Brittany from ClumpsofMascara.com. We used to work together and have been friends for years. She’s married but she eloped off to Disney World. I knew she’d have a great time trying on gowns and maybe she’d think about renewing her vows. No word yet but I’ll keep you updated. 😉
This Feels Wonderful
Mina with MinaSlater.com is picture perfect, one of those women you can’t compare to a model because she is the model. However women are self conscious and don’t always feel perfect. Mina was the last lady to slip into a gown because she preferred to sit back and watch. But once she got started it was hard to get her to stop. Mina’s words were the last we heard on the way out that night.
Alfred Angelo wedding gowns on everyday women modeled by Orlando bloggers of all shapes and sizes proves happiness is what makes a bride beautiful. If you click on each girl’s name above you’ll be brought to their blogs and you can read their stories and see all the dresses they tried that night. So get going and check out all these great blogs so you can see the different dresses each lady chose to try on!
